Welcome to our blog! This blog focuses on how domestic violence is a direct violation of human rights. Human rights are defined as the rights to which a human is entitled simply by being born. These rights are defined in the Declaration of Human Rights. Many human rights are violated by domestic violence, but three specific violations are: the right to freedom of equality, the right to freedom from torture and mistreatment, and the right to participate in the cultural life of community. We feel very passionately that domestic violence is happening too often and needs to be stopped.
